The I'm So In Love With You meme, also called the Jiren dance, is a TikTok meme in which Dragon Ball characters sway their hips to a song that opens on the line "I'm so in love with you". Jiren, the stone-faced fighter who never shows a feeling, is the one everyone remembers, and seeing him roll his hips is the whole joke. By late October 2026 the same dance was being done by game characters, cartoon characters and people filming themselves.
What is the I'm So In Love With You meme?
It is a dance that is not meant to be cool. The characters doing it are fighters, soldiers and monsters, and the hip sway does not suit any of them. The comments turned that into a running joke, the dancer who tries not to dance. Under @1vvxx6's Jiren loop, "I can control it" has close to 2,000 likes. Under a Dead Space version, the top comment is "Should I control it?", with more than 4,500. Variations of "wait... the song... don't dance... I can't control it... NANI???" turn up in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
What is the I'm So In Love With You meme song?
According to Know Your Meme, the song is "it's like i'm not even here" by Mthu. The meme is named after its first line, which is why most people search "I'm so in love with you" and not the title. On TikTok the sound is usually listed as "original sound" under the name of whoever uploaded it, so searching the title inside the app does not always find it.
Where the Jiren dance came from
The dancing animations go back to early September 2026, and Know Your Meme credits most of them to @dblgiuzman. A Jiren animation from September 2 passed 313,000 views within a month. The pairing with the song came later that month, and one of the earliest edits, by @skobodo_tolot on September 17, passed 719,000.
From there it is what we can see in the TikTok posts, with play counts from November 2, 2026.
- October 20: @1vvxx6 posts a loop of Jiren dancing, tagged #jiren and #dragonball. It passes 800,000 plays. The same day @adamlostagain posts a video doing Jiren's moves.
- October 24: a version with Isaac Clarke from Dead Space, by @peleer28, passes 500,000 plays.
- October 25: a Five Nights at Freddy's animatronic, by @mark854211, passes 480,000, Gucci Morty, by @thatguysamuel123, passes 420,000, and a crew of four avatars, by @keltz.harris, passes 360,000.
The I'm So In Love With You template
The Dead Space, Freddy's and Gucci Morty versions all use the same template. A character stands on a white floor and strikes four poses, one for each line of the song, about two seconds each, with a pixel dissolve between them and each line written across the middle of the picture. The hips sway through all of it. The crew version is the same four poses with four dancers side by side.
Is this official?
No. It is a fan-made meme, and nothing connects it to Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Legends or the games and shows whose characters dance in it. Copy That Video is an independent tool, not affiliated with any of them, the song's artist or the TikTok creators in the trend.
