Terms of Service

The rules for using the site: what you may upload, who owns the videos, how credits and payments work, and what we are not responsible for.

Last updated: 25 October 2026

These terms cover your use of Copy That Video (copythatvideo.com). By using the site or buying credits you agree to them. Questions go to support@copythatvideo.com.

What the service is

An online tool that turns an uploaded photo into your own AI-generated version of a trending video, and makes AI videos from text or an image. It is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to TikTok, any app that makes video templates, or any person, club, film, brand, label or company that appears in or inspired a trend.

Trend clips on our pages are short previews hosted by us, always credited to their author with a link to the original post. Creators can ask us to take a clip down through the contact page, and we remove it promptly.

Your account

You must be at least 18 years old to buy credits. Keep your sign-in details to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account.

What you may upload

You may only upload photos that you own or have the right to use and that show you, or adults who have agreed to appear in the video. You may not upload:

  • photos of children or anyone under 18;
  • photos of public figures or anyone who has not consented;
  • nudity, sexual content, violence, hate, or anything illegal;
  • photos meant to deceive, harass, defame or impersonate someone;
  • prompts asking for any of the above, or for real people's likeness without their consent;
  • anything meant to get around our content checks.

Memorial templates (for example the Day of the Dead and loved-one templates) are the one exception to the consent rule: you may upload a photo of a family member, friend or pet who has passed away, if the photo is yours to use. Photos of children are still not allowed.

We may refuse, stop or remove any render that breaks these rules, and suspend or close accounts that break them or try to get around the checks, without refund of the credits used.

How uploads are checked

Every photo you upload is checked automatically for nudity and sexual content before a video is made and before any credits are charged. A photo that fails is refused and deleted, and nothing is charged. Anything sexual involving a minor is reported where the law requires it. The AI video models also refuse violent, sexual and hateful requests; a render refused there gives its credits back.

Automatic checks are not perfect. A photo can be refused by mistake: try a different one. Passing the check does not make a photo allowed; the rules above still apply.

The videos

  • The videos are generated by AI. Results vary from render to render; a face or a movement may not come out exactly as expected.
  • You may use the videos you make for personal and social-media use. Label them as AI-generated where the platform asks.
  • You are responsible for how you use and publish them.

Credits and payments

  • Videos are paid for with credits, bought in one-time packs. There is no subscription and no automatic renewal.
  • One second of finished trend video uses 10 credits; text- and image-to-video depend on the model. The button shows the exact amount before anything is charged.
  • Credits do not expire. They are not money, cannot be transferred, and cannot be exchanged for cash except as the refund policy allows.
  • If a render fails on our side, its credits are returned to your balance automatically.
  • Prices are shown in US dollars before you pay and may change for future purchases; credits you already bought keep their value.
  • Refunds are covered by the refund policy.

Availability

We work to keep the service running, but it depends on third-party AI providers and may be slow or unavailable at times. We may change or end features, and end the service with reasonable notice; unused credits are then refundable.

Liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
